Refund Policy

Last updated 19 November 2025

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be granted for purchases made on ccplugins.co.uk.
The website is operated by Mr T. S. Lomas, trading as Caterham Computing, a sole trader located at 110 Commonwealth Road, Caterham, Surrey CR3 6LS, United Kingdom.
All content and software are owned by Mr T. S. Lomas unless otherwise stated.

By purchasing from this site you agree to this policy, which forms part of our Terms of Sale and Software Licence Agreement.

1 Digital Content and Cooling-Off Rights

1.1 Our plugins are digital downloads supplied immediately after payment.
1.2 By completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your statutory cooling-off rights end once the download or licence key has been issued under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
1.3 This does not affect any non-excludable consumer rights you hold under UK law.

2 When a Refund Will Be Considered

We may grant a refund within 14 days of purchase in the following circumstances only:

2.1 Duplicate purchase of the same product or licence tier by the same customer.
2.2 Irreparable technical issue – a verifiable defect prevents the plugin from functioning as advertised on a clean, supported WordPress installation and our support team cannot provide a reasonable fix or workaround within 14 days of your first ticket.
2.3 Accidental purchase of the wrong tier – we will normally exchange the licence for the correct tier and adjust the price difference rather than cancel outright.

We cannot issue refunds for problems caused by third-party themes, plugins, hosting environments, or custom code unless the same issue is reproducible in a clean installation.

3 When Refunds Are Not Available

3.1 Change of mind or expectation of unadvertised features.
3.2 Incompatibility with unsupported WordPress or PHP versions, or with third-party extensions not claimed as compatible.
3.3 Performance results that are subjective or dependent on your hosting environment.
3.4 Renewal payments or expired licences after the renewal date has passed.
3.5 Bundle purchases where part of the bundle has already been downloaded or activated – we may offer a partial credit at our discretion.
3.6 Products obtained through promotions or giveaways.
3.7 Licences suspended or terminated for breach of our terms.

4 How to Request a Refund

4.1 Email support@ccplugins.co.uk from the address used for purchase within 14 days, quoting your order number, product name, and a clear description of the issue.
4.2 Be ready to supply diagnostic information or temporary staging-site access so we can reproduce the problem safely.
4.3 Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We cannot process refunds to alternative accounts.

5 Chargebacks

Please contact us first to resolve any issue. Unfounded chargebacks may result in licence revocation and account suspension.
We will provide supporting evidence to payment processors where appropriate.

6 Discontinued Products

If a plugin is discontinued while your licence is active:

  • Updates will cease immediately.
  • Support continues until the end of your active term.
No refunds are owed solely because a product is discontinued.

7 Processing Time

Refunds, when approved, are normally processed within five working days. Bank processing times may vary.

8 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses such as data loss, downtime, or loss of revenue.

9 Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
